Anthony Rolon, CEO of The Rolon Group, began his career in education early on. As a teen with humble beginnings (and not so humble desires!) he soon learned that he must work hard for what he wanted. By the time he graduated high school, he had already mastered the art of recruiting through his employment at a small trade school…

In true entrepreneurial spirit, Rolon realized he could cover more ground with assistance and employed his cousin to help. The young business mind branded his self by stamping his signature on every survey he handed out. The result? That small trade school became the first school that knew how innovative Rolon could be in garnering interest and generating prospects.

After serving in the Navy, Rolon reverted back to his roots in education recruitment. He became an Admissions Representative at a computer training school. Over the next few years, Rolon established himself as a leader in post-secondary education taking on sought after roles in Admissions and expanding his expertise to include Marketing. At the age of 24, Rolon became the Director of Admissions for Berkeley College. To what does he credit his success? “I may have not been the smartest person in the room, but I would work harder than whoever was!”

Rolon went on to acquire a Beauty and Wellness School in South Florida where he became absorbed by digital marketing as a means to drive quality traffic to his institution. With his vast knowledge, industry know-how, and genuine connections, Rolon became a respected figure in higher education. After continuous research and planning, it was time for his own venture: Americolleges – an advanced college search engine that connects students with post-secondary options in their area. Americolleges was the flagship portal for World Web Partners, Rolon’s first company.

World Web Partners quickly became a popular source of quality leads among colleges and schools establishing relationships with some of higher education’s biggest players. In 2013, Inc. 5000 recognized WWP as one of the year’s fastest growing companies. From World Web Partners, the Rolon Group introduced 3 other brands: Tribeca Marketing Group – a full service marketing agency, RolCall which provides scalable call center solutions, and Ynot? – a lead management system and software company.

Rolon’s goal has always been to provide higher education marketing that is student focused. He believes that traditional four year universities are not ideal for everyone and those that choose another route should know their options. All students should be equipped with the tools they need to succeed and higher education marketing should be privy to connecting potential students with their dreams.
